Job Description
Looking for a dynamic, creative in-house WordPress developer to help launch new sites, implement new features and functionality, and maintain existing WordPress sites.
As a WordPress Designer & Developer at CodeAce, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities
- Write code, extend, and enhance existing code.
- Work with both our current theme as well as develop new themes.
- Recommend and deliver solutions from start to finish.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Conducting WordPress training with the client.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.

- Ability to take projects from concept through execution.
- Understands and can speak to all aspects of the development life cycle (e.g. requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation).

Salary: ₹200,000.00 – ₹420,000.00 per year
